Day 13
How is your challenge going? Tomorrow will be two weeks into the challenge and have you noticed anything about yourself? Has it been hard or easy to do your challenge everyday? I have to say that for my challenge, the sit/push ups are easier than going to bed before 10:30. I have to confess that there have been a few nights when I have literally been running down the hallway and diving into my bed just as the clock strikes 10:30! I think I need to rethink my approach to this part!
I am excited to say that I am able to do 12 push ups! (The kind from the knees) This may not seem like very much to you but before this challenge started, I could do 2 or maybe 3 on a really good day. So, I am celebrating that progress. I also have been noticing that my sleep is getting better. By going to bed earlier, I am actually sleeping more deeply and so I have started to notice that I am not as tired by the middle of the day. My overall goal of creating more energy in my life seems to be getting closer…that’s very cool for me. Makes me want to dance more, which is very joyful for me! How about you? Has the challenge generated any joy for you?
Joyfully,
Deb

the challenge has been working out - I have setting up a meal plan for supper/dinner - so no more coming home after work thinking what am I going to have for dinner/supper - also great in groceries –

I have been committed to writing affirmations for my goals daily. I also use the wordle gadget to drum up positive words for my quests. Thesaurus.com is great to use also in creating this collage. I am working at being more positive in my words and using them in reference to all areas of my life.
I have noticed that I call myself names when I drop things, or make a mistake. NOT good. So, working at saying gentler things, or nothing at all, just moving forward.
It’s been great to start the day with the wordle creation. So much fun!
I missed a day so I did 2 the next day….. double the fun, double the power. I guess I just got too involved in other things. Progress, not perfection.
Its a good exercise Deb…. thanks for sharing it.

I keep forgetting…..I want to write every day (that’s my challenge) and I forget! The day goes by and before I know it….it’s 10:30 - time to go to bed! My challenge is to find a time of day that is consistently available.

So far I’ve been doing pretty good. Only missed one day and made up for it the next day. I set my goals low enough that I could reach them but most days I do more than I’d planned. An object in motion does seem to keep going alright. And I have put out a few reminders so that I don’t forget I’m doing this. . . For some reason that was a hurdle for me. I noticed at first I’d get to the end of the day and go, “oops, almost forgot” . . . . then I’d go to it. Better late than never.
